Want More Speaking Gigs This Fall? Try This…
Last week we chatted about client appreciation events (still one of my favorite ways to build goodwill and get referrals). But with summer wrapping up and Q4 around the corner, it’s time to think about another opportunity that’s sitting right in front of you…
Speaking season.
Fall is when everyone’s back from vacation, kids are in school, and people are actually thinking about their future again. Perfect timing for estate and elder law workshops.
Here’s the thing though – instead of going it alone, why not team up?
I’m talking about partnering with the other professionals who already work with your ideal clients. Financial advisors, realtors, geriatric care managers, CPAs. You know, the people who get asked “Do you know a good estate attorney?” all the time.
Reach out with something simple like: “Hey, want to co-host a workshop this fall? I’ll handle the legal stuff, you cover [whatever their expertise is], and we both get to meet each other’s people.”
It’s honestly genius. You’re getting in front of warm audiences without spending money on ads, and they get to provide extra value to their clients. Everyone wins.
Quick tip: If you’ve done workshops before, don’t reinvent the wheel. Pull out those old slides, freshen them up a bit, and use what worked. No need to start from scratch every time.
Want some help putting this together?
We’ve got templates, promotion strategies, and can even handle the whole thing for you if you prefer. Just hit reply and let’s talk about it.
Here’s to more partnerships and less cold outreach,
