Quick Website Tip for a Fast Win
Can I share something that might sound a little crazy?
I was on a law firm website last week (doing some “competitive research” while waiting for my coffee to brew), and I clicked on their Contact page. You know what I found? A sterile form, no photo, and copy that basically said “Fill this out and we’ll get back to you.”
Yikes.
It felt like I was submitting a request to the Department of Motor Vehicles, not reaching out to someone who could help me protect my family’s future.
Here’s the thing — your Contact page is probably getting more eyeballs than any other page on your site. And if it feels cold or intimidating? You’re losing people who are this close to becoming clients.
So here’s your quick win for this week:
Give your Contact page a little love with these four simple updates:
• Add a friendly photo — You, your team, even your office. Something that says “real humans work here!”
• Write a clear call to action — “Schedule Your Consultation Today” beats “Contact Us” every single time
• Give them options — Contact form, phone number, calendar link. Some people are form-fillers, others are pick-up-the-phone types
• Ease their nerves — Try something like: “We’re here to help, and we make the process simple. Whether you’re ready to start or just have a few questions, we’re happy to talk.”
I’ve watched attorneys make these exact changes and get consultation requests the same day. No kidding.
Bonus tip: While you’re at it, test everything! Make sure that form actually works and your calendar link isn’t sending people into the digital void. (Ask me how I know this matters… 😅)

P.S. If this little tweak gets you even one extra consultation this month, it’ll be worth the 20 minutes it takes to update. Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference!
